11 Months

December 2nd, 2020

It is December! Sean turned 11 months earlier this week. It has been a long, hard month, mostly due to the increasing restrictions and once again attempting to do virtual school at home while working (Matthew is 100% remote and Maggie is still going, for now), but we are gearing up for advent so I am excited about what is to come in the month ahead.

I am also excited to think through what my goals are for 2021. Many flopped for 2020, due to restrictions, but thinking ahead is giving me hope for the future, even if many of the restrictions will still exist in one form or another in the year ahead.

Baby milestones: Sean is pulling himself up and moving around. He is starting to climb more as well. He climbed all the way up the stairs with me as a spotter—and then half way with Maggie as a spotter (but I noticed them before anyone got hurt).

Describe the month in one word: Transition. We are moving from the beautiful colors of fall into the winter, where we will likely hibernate.

Happiest memory: All the food on Thanksgiving.

How I am feeling: Tired.
