Nine Months and Overwhelm
October 2, 2020
I am feeling … Overwhelmed? Behind? Not quite sure what the right word is. Work is picking up. The kid’s school schedule is crazy. I love, love, love this season, so I am trying to pack in all the fall-fun festivities on the weekend and in every single nook and cranny. I am training for a 10K, so I run most evenings when Mike gets home. These are all things I am grateful for, but yea, our schedules are definitely full so I am going to keep this post short.
Sean is nine months (or he was as of September 30; again I am behind on life)! Here is what our life looks like right now.
Baby milestones: Sean is still slithering on the floor most days, but he is also able to get up on all fours—feet and hands planted on the floor and legs and arms straight, kind of like a poorly positioned downward dog—and he tries to walk in that position. I wish I could explain to him that he is going about it is a very difficult manner.
Describe the month in one word: Full. I alluded to why at the beginning of this post, but life is very full right now.
Happiest memory: Apple picking with Maggie. Pumpkin picking with all the kids. Bike rides. Pretty much anything we have been doing outside.
How I am feeling: Grateful. Even with all the overwhelm and feeling of being behind, I am feeling so grateful to have the life I have.
